Walkabout Postponed – BLCT and Town Trails Team
Due to incoming major winter coastal storm anticipated to add a foot or more of new snow on Friday, the walkabout has been postponed one week. Stay safe and see you on the 16th!
Westside Walkabout at Veterans Memorial Park
Saturday, Feb 16th 10 am
Park and meet at Legion Way ice skating rink for a walk through the western side of the park to examine trails and wetlands in preparation for the next phase of park projects to improve trail conditions, close trails where needed and complete the new trail system. We will be walking off trail or in wet/snowy conditions as part of our review. Check out the elm tree. We will also drive to Brick Pond Drive and hike from that location for the second part of the walkabout.
