Westside Walkabout at Veterans Memorial Park, Barrington
Saturday, Feb 16th 10 am

Park and meet at Legion Way ice skating rink for a walk through the western side of the park to examine trails and wetlands in preparation for the next phase of park projects to improve trail conditions, close trails, cut back invasive plants and complete a new trail system. We will be walking off trail and in wet/snowy conditions as part of our review. Check out the elm tree! We will also drive to Brick Pond Drive and hike from that location for the second part of the walkabout.

For All Walks/Projects: Dress for the day’s weather; snow boots are recommended. For more information, please contact Helen Tjader: helen@acornnpsolutions.com or 401-480-8329
