Witness the beauty of Sowams Woods with a sunset walk through the woods and a full hunters’ moon rising across Echo Lake. Sunset is at 6 p.m. and the moonrise at 6:45. We’ll listen for owls, examine the foliage and learn sky watching traditions. This is an easy walk for all ages. Families are encouraged. Dogs are permitted on leash. Bring bug spray, camera and flashlight.
Sowams Woods is located on Washington Road and South Lake Drive. Park on Tallwood Drive, Spinnaker Drive and Lighthouse Lane. Meet on Washington Road.
