Sowams Woods Winter Solstice Celebration of Seven Years of Protection!

Come enjoy a (snowy?) walk through Sowams Woods to mark the seventh anniversary of its protection. Learn about solstice traditions on this shortest day of the year when the sun will be at its absolute lowest height along the horizon (11:44am). Come see habitat improvements and learn about the Sowams National Heritage District proposal.
Apple cider and cookies will be part of our celebration. All ages are welcome. Hope you can join us!
Meet at Sowams Woods sign on South Lake Drive.
Please park on Tallwood Drive, Spinnaker Drive or Lighthouse Lane. (No parking is permitted on South Lake Drive.)
