This event is part of a three-year Barrington Land Trust project to replace invasive knotweed and phragmites with native plants at Allin’s Cove.
We’re almost there!
We need a lot of help to plant over 300 shrubs and grasses in three areas around Allin’s Cove! We have an extra request for a pickup truck, van or other vehicle with plenty of storage area to transport the plants to two of the sites.
Please bring a shovel and a trowel if you have them.
Meet at 28 Byway Road. Park on Green Ave. or Byway Road.
Dress for the day’s weather. Long pants, gloves and sturdy shoes are recommended. Insect repellant is advisable year-round for tick protection.
We hope to get a lot of volunteers so we can get all the plants in the ground on the 26th . It would be very helpful to know how many people we can rely on.
