Hikers hit the Blue Trail after the Land Trust Days cookout at the YMCA/Veterans Park event on August 12.
Barrington Land Conservation Trust hosted a successful walk of the new Blue Trail at Veterans Park on August 12. The event was led by Helen Trader, head of the Barrington Trails Team and former BLCT board member. Some 15 kids and parents from the YMCA joined the walk.
R.I. Land Trust Days is organized by Helen and includes dozens of events across the state between August 8 and Oct. 4. See event listing at www.landtrustdays.org
