July brings a double header of trails team events.   First on Tuesday July 10th we will be working at Johannis Farm doing trail maintenance, litter pick up and invasives removal as needed from 10am until noon.   Bring your usual hand clippers and/or loppers.  There will be additional tools available. As always don’t forget tick precautions and bring water and sunblock. We will meet at 10 am.  at the Sowams School parking lot (due to limited on-site parking) and carpool over.

On Sat. July 14th we will be working at Osamequin Nature Preserve from 10 am until noon repairing broken trail signs, doing bog walk repairs and adjusting some trail signage.  Tools will be provided.  We may also be removing some invasive plants as well.  Bring sunblock, tick repellent and plenty of water as there will be little shade.  Meet at the trailhead sign on County Rd. (Rte 114)

New volunteers are always welcomed!  No experience necessary.  For questions contact:   volunteers@blct.org
