Jeanine Silversmith, author of the Rhode Island Family Hiking Guide & Journal, will lead a discussion on how hiking is a fun and healthy activity that engages your family in outdoor exploration and learning. Jeanine also will help kick off our Young Naturalist Backpack program, which will make available to Barrington Public Library patrons backpacks filled with items to engage kids during a hike.
