DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Earth Month with a journey through hundreds of acres of natural open space preserved by the Barrington Land Conservation Trust and the Town of Barrington. \nREGISTER FOR THE EVENT. \nThrough photos and stories\, we’ll discover the hidden gems of forest\, fields\, and coastal properties that have been preserved for future generations. The event is free and open to all. \nHow do these natural places benefit you? What is the history of these places? Why are some open to the public\, while others are only open for guided tours or open only for stewardship and research activities? \nParticipate in a discussion on the value of open space in our community and the challenges associated with preserving them in a lasting way. \nThe presentation will be delivered by volunteers who play critical roles in the management and care of these properties.
