DESCRIPTION:Boost your spirit and experience the benefits of outdoor exercise on our Winter Wellness Walk at Hampden Meadows Greenbelt on Saturday\, Dec. 23\, at 9 am. All ages are welcome. You may bring dogs on leashes. \nREGISTER FOR THE WALK \nThese walks are different than our traditional guided walks. Since it’s cold outside\, we’ll keep moving at a moderate pace rather than stopping to explain the history and ecology of the property. These will be informal walks where we can get to know each other and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. \nHampden Meadows Greenbelt is a town-owned conservation area with a public trail that is open from dawn to dusk all year long. It runs between Kent Street and Linden Road in Barrington\, RI. We’ll start at the Kent Street end\, walk to Linden\, and return to Kent Street. The total distance is about one mile\, so you’ll be finished in under an hour.
