#65 - Tax Sale Lots

Location: Plat 37, Lots 25 and 27. Tax title transferred by Town on August 21, 2006. The land is currently not accessible to the public.

These two lots comprise approximately 4 acres in the vicinity (to the north) of 100 Acre Cove and are part of an extensive coastal wetland system bordering the Cove. The land is near several other parcels that already have protected status, owned by the Town, Audubon Society or the Trust. Acquiring these parcels is part of the Trust’s effort to preserve the sensitive lands and wetlands in this area, and thereby also protect water quality in the Cove.
